Responsibility
- my client based on Colchester Business Park is currently looking to hire a Customer Service Representative
- the Customer Service Representative will report into the Customer Service Manager and undertake the below responsibilities
- building trusted relationships with both internal and external customers
- managing Customer Service and Sales Support Inboxes
- validating customer POs received via email & managing queries, escalating where required
- validating customer POs received via email and EDI, and managing queries, escalating where required
- working closely with Procurement team regarding stock demands and availability, updating customers on lead times and potential delays
- obtaining courier and freights costs as required
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- order processing experience, working to deadlines, and working professionally to meet customer needs
- ability to multi-task under pressure
- excellent phone etiquette with clear verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- able to proactively solve issues
- experience of working in an inventory-based business
- highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- at least 2 years of experience working in a customer support / admin role and passionate about providing outstanding customer service
- ability to understand customer concerns and a genuine desire to help customers resolve issues
