Responsibility
- we are looking for Senior Support Workers to work at our services from Ferring across to Littlehampton
- our clients enjoy being a part of the local community visiting local cafe's and shops
- provide support and assistance to individuals with a learning disability and physical disabilities in their daily activities
- assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- help individuals with meal planning and preparation
- support individuals in participating in community activities and social events
- we are looking for two Support Workers to join an established team working with 5 gentlemen with a variety of learning disabilities, mental health and complex health issues
- egalite is a local 'outstanding' domiciliary care agency. We provide support to clients living in their own homes and in small supported living services. We pride ourselves on our person centred approach and wellbeing support to staff
Requirements
- previous experience working with individuals with a learning disability is preferred
- knowledge of person-centred care approaches and strategies
- ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with learning disabilities
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations
- flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
- support worker: 1 year
- providing care: 3 years
- supervisory: 1 year
