general labourer
Responsibility
- perform various construction and maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor
- assist with fabricating and assembling structures or components using hand and power tools
- conduct carpentry work such as framing, installing doors/windows, and building structures
- assist with electrical work including wiring, installation of fixtures, and troubleshooting
- perform masonry tasks such as laying bricks, blocks, or stones to construct or repair walls
- utilize hand tools to complete tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, or applying roofing materials
- assist with plumbing tasks such as installing pipes, fixtures, or repairing leaks
- perform plastering dutys
Requirements
- proven experience as a Laborer or similar role in the construction industry
- ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is preferred
- strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- proficiency in various skills including fabrication, power tool usage, carpentry, electrical work, masonry, hand tool operation, roofing, plumbing, welding, and painting
- plastering: 1 year
- bricklaying: 1 year
