Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • secretarial support to solicitors
  • audio-typing from digital dictation
  • diary Management – arranging appointments for clients to see solicitors
  • assisting Practice Manager with monthly file reviews
  • working as part of a team to ensure effective secretarial cover is maintained
  • typing of letters, attendance notes and bills, and monitoring and replying to e-mails from within the firm or outside organisations
  • dealing with admin for solicitors as required
  • making telephone calls/sending e-mails to progress files

Requirements

  • audio-typing to 60wpm with speedy accurate keyboard skills
  • RSA typing qualification advisable
  • computer literate
  • experience using a Case Management system would be an advantage
  • friendly and professional telephone manner and ability to communicate effectively with clients by telephone or in person
  • ability to correctly manage sensitive and confidential information
  • previous experience of working in an office environment
