Requirements
have some form of school based experience delivering small group interventions in Reading, Literacy, Maths and/or Phonics
be confident in working with children that have additional needs and behavioral issues
interest in working with SEN pupils. Needs will include ASD, speech and language delay / disorder, behavioural difficulties
A teaching assistant is required to support children who find it challenging to access the curriculum and make progress
have an affable character that bodes well to working with younger children
ideally experience of working with this age group
ideally, want to become a primary teacher or forge some sort of SEN /education related career
