Responsibility
- working with the staff collectively to help the children develop and remain on the daily schedule
- supporting the student's social and emotional development
- helping the student learn self-regulation techniques, though a lot of guidance and support will be required
- keeping the children engaged
- developing a relationship with the students and their caregivers
- working with challenging behaviour
Requirements
- at least 6 months of experience in an education-based role
- A flexible and resourceful approach
- strong communication and can showcase empathy
- you will be able to demonstrate positive reinforcement
- strong behaviour management skills
- experience in THRIVE or Team Teach
- have a right to work in the UK
- two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks
