Responsibility
- as a Site Joiner/Shop Fitter, you will play a crucial role in implementing our unique methodology for care home refurbishments
- collaborate with the project team to understand design plans and specifications for each project
- execute all aspects of joinery and fitting work, including installing fitted bedroom cabinetry, doors, fixtures, and fittings
- your work will directly contribute to our mission of de-risking projects and reducing room downtime
- ensure the efficient use of materials and equipment, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity
- you will be provided with company vehicle and all necessary tools, and joined by an assistant to form 2-person team
- adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment
- maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements
- full, Category B driving licence and previous driving experience
- proven experience as a Site Joiner or Shop Fitter, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- extensive knowledge and expertise in joinery, fitting, and general construction practices
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools
- strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
