Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision
- cask warehouse operations such as re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection
- to maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
- maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
- stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods
- dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
- identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- management of a busy warehouse to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs through use of a forklift
Requirements
- technical and hands-on practical ability
- relevant forklift experience is preferable
- experience in a warehousing environment
- experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred
- self-motivated – ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
- excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
- UK Driver’s license
- high attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
