Responsibility

  • create and pay supplier payments using online banking
  • track bank account balances & conduct bank account reconciliations in Xero
  • collate monthly employee payroll and processing
  • keep an accurate track of the companies’ liabilities when due i.e. PAYE / CIS / VAT etc
  • monthly reconciliation of Creditors to supplier statements
  • credit control
  • daily processing of invoices, payments, income and receipts and enter data into Xero , allocate to correct projects & manage electronic filing of relevant documentation
  • manage employee expense claims

Requirements

  • proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
  • proficiency in accounting software Xero
  • strong understanding of accounts payable processes
  • excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • fully qualified accountant
