Responsibility
- contributing to the maintenance of HSE standards, ensuring a safe and co-operative working environment
- various administration tasks such as arranging couriers and ordering stationery and laboratory supplies as needed
- to assist with maintaining stock levels, maintaining stocks of PPE and scheduling waste disposal
- to assist with management and implementation of equipment checks, tracking all equipment checks to ensure that calibrations are performed routinely
- to assist with management and logging in of goods, tracking items to ensure that expired items are removed from use and disposed of safely
Requirements
- practical experience working in a scientific environment would be a distinct advantage
- an administrative background which involved multitasking
- experience using project management software Asana
- experience in the use of databases to track activities / log items an advantage
- familiarity with COSHH
- energy, enthusiasm and an excellent collaborative attitude
- experience using iOS operative system
