Responsibility
- acting as cheque, transfer and online banking authoriser, ensuring efficient quality checking is in place
- providing technical guidance and support to both the Finance and Technical & Dealing Teams
- identifying and delivering efficiencies within the Finance department, both in automation and streamlining of processes
- managing and motivating the Finance team, setting clear objectives and communicating information effectively
- reviewing monthly MI to identify and deliver on improvements to eliminate errors or complaints
- providing MI to clients and management to report the financial position of bank, investment and system balance positions
- ensuring that all client money positions are tracked and reconciled on a daily basis, with all processing anomalies reconciled and cleared down to zero
- maintaining adherence to ISO27001 standard practices
Requirements
- must be a Qualified Accountant
- minimum 5 years' experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred but not essential
- must have previous experience of operating / managing Client Money Accounts and reporting
- team leadership / supervisory experience is essential
- must have previous experience of driving through process improvements
