Responsibility
- managing and executing works against the company’s budget & programme
- management of all on-site labour related to the contracted works
- responsible for managing all materials, site plant machinery, tools and resources required to execute the works
- management of site costs and reporting/updates as required
- protection and maintenance of finished works up to site handover
- track change events and variations of work agreed, measuring ongoing works to prepare monthly applications for payment
- invoice completed works, ensuring that clients are sent all substantiation required, meeting client deadlines and milestones in a timely fashion
- review the project financial reports, on the jobs under your control, with the Operations Director
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience delivering arboriculture contracts with some experience of delivering mechanised arboriculture works
- an understanding of large site clearance equipment including excavators with attachments, whole tree chippers, tractors and lorries
- SMSTS qualified
- driving license
- A clear understanding of site protocol and operational requirements on both commercial and domestic projects
- strong verbal & written communication skills
