Responsibility
- we are looking for a groundworker with a work car/van in Exeter
- an understanding of Groundworks with previous experience
- competent with materials and tools
- assisting with the setup at times
- loading and unloading materials if required
- follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- work collaboratively with the construction team to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- basic rate is £16.50 per hour for jobs in Exeter but when required to use own vehicle to transport workers and/or tools, the pay is £17.00 to £17.50ph for the full shift to cover fuel costs
Requirements
- valid CSCS card
- previous experience as a groundworker in the construction industry is required
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- when there is work to be done then applicant is expected to work, not use their phone excessively. There are times where the day is quiet and the use of phones during that time may be permitted
