warehouse operative
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- an opportunity has become available for an experienced motivated person to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative
- your role as Warehouse Operative includes picking, packing, preparing goods for export and checking received goods into the warehouse
- this role is to work as part of a team in our established warehouse which is based on Cross Green Industrial Estate Leeds 9
- you must be able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- the successful candidate will hold a valid Flexi or Bendi FLT Licence plus a valid Counterbalance FLT license. Significant practical experience of the use of these is essential
- whilst we store a variety of commodities some of these are chemicals. Experience of working in a chemical storage environment would be advantageous but not essential, full training will be given
- attention to detail is essential as all our products are batch coded and must be picked and checked against an order sheet
- you will work alongside an experienced member of staff who will provide you with ongoing support and guidance
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
