Responsibility

  • undertaking the role of Senior Estimator on projects taking responsibility and leading the estimating function on assigned tenders
  • effective use of the EcoDuct Project Evaluation Form to reach viable conclusions on incoming projects prior to preparing quotations
  • management and preparation of estimates for projects
  • co-ordination of timely preparation and submission of estimates
  • updating and tracking enquiry log
  • submittal preparation
  • ongoing reviews of competitor pricing and comparisons with EcoDuct
  • maintenance of material cost records and pricing levels

Requirements

  • experience within a building services environment and/or including ductwork
  • A good understanding of technical drawings
  • experience of mechanical installation processes
  • estimating: 4 years
