- complete pre-run vehicle inspections
- verify the contents of each delivery against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any - -Collection of vehicles from virtual depot, attend Daventry Depot for loading, completion of planned route, return of vehicle to virtual depot
- ensure all equipment required to complete route is on vehicle
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and recording information
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
