- prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and budgets
- perform month-end and year-end closings
- ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
- oversee accounts payable and receivable
- maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
- provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
- liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
- file VAT returns and address any related queries with HMRC
- AAT qualified
- MSC in Accounting & Finance
- ACCA Applied Skills Qualification is an advantage
- strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- proven experience in VAT filing and handling HMRC queries
- knowledge of tax compliance and experience in preparing tax returns
- excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- 6+ years of experience working in an accountancy firm
