Responsibility
- overseeing all warehouse and production departments to ensure safe and efficient operation
- managing the production and warehouse teams to achieve targets/schedules
- getting involved on the shop-floor to solve problems, correct mistakes and pitch-in as required
- dealing with suppliers and working with Purchasing and Goods-In colleagues to uphold quality and maintain accurate inventory
- extensively using our ERP system for accurate stock adjustments, work-orders, assembly builds, BOM changes, scheduling and prioritisation
- working with the Operations Manager to coordinate large intercompany exports
- upholding standards of safety, quality and maintenance across warehouse and production departments

Requirements
- experience managing teams within a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment
- good understanding of stock management systems, ERP/MRP
- energetic problem-solver with a can-do attitude
- able to multitask and prioritise own workload and others’
- good knowledge of H&S procedures and risk assessment
- A natural communicator, both written and verbal, who brings out the best in people
- hands-on warehouse experience; organising and handling stock , goods-in, order processing, freight packing
- good IT skills
