Responsibility

  • the success of ELR pubs is key to supporting the ongoing operation of the railway
  • be friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to our guests creating a great atmosphere
  • we are looking to recruit professional and outgoing people to help run our bar and food operation
  • both bar and food service
  • delivering excellent guest service to the high standards required
  • you must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • maintaining good standards of cleanliness throughout the pub
  • the Trackside is a unique real ale pub located on Platform 2 of The East Lancs Railway, in the centre of Bury

Requirements

  • experience working in a bar, pub or restaurant, preferable but not essential
  • be trustworthy, respectful and reliable
  • be a good team player, helping and supporting your colleagues
  • willingness to learn
  • available to work evenings and weekends
  • good food and drinks knowledge, preferably of real ale
