Responsibility
- mixed role between shop fabrication and mechanical installs
- fabricate metalwork structures including architectural engineering and general industrial fabrications
- examples would be staircase structures, footbridges, balconies, large scale sculpture & basic industrial fabrication
- install fabricated structures to various client sites
- to service, repair and install various mechanical entrance systems –
- travel to various client sites generally in teams of 2
- recommending new techniques & equipment where possible to consistently improve processes for everyone
- to use a multitude of powered and manual hand tools
Requirements
- time served fabricator / sheet metal worker preferred although not essential
- A positive attitude and outstanding relationship skills are essential. We expect friendly, professional standards to support a healthy working culture
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- consistent attention to detail is essential, we pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide
- previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- whilst direct experience is preferred, training will be provided for suitable candidates with transferable skills
- hand tool & power tool experience required
- A current full UK driving license is preferable
