- act as first point of contact for the day-to-day financial affairs of the business
- lead on the preparation of monthly management accounts , and prepare accounts for year-end
- oversee accounts receivable, and follow up on overdue payments
- manage accounts payable, and queue invoices for payment
- assist with running the monthly payroll and pension reports
- manage all aspects of tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes
- budgeting and cash flow forecasts, tracking and variance reporting
- work closely with external accountants to ensure highest quality standards and compliance with tax rules and regulations
