in this role you will be also required to work as part of our external team of staff

duties will include processing customer’s orders, providing excellent customer service, loading and unloading vehicles, storing stock safely and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment

we require an experienced Yard Supervisor to join our team at our Kingsfold Depot
reporting to the Depot Manager, you will manage the day to day running of our busy yard
other duties will include serving customers, yard cleanliness, stock replenishment and stock ordering/control
by organising the team and the loading and unloading of vehicles, you will ensure that the daily orders are completed accurately, safely and on time
you will be supervising a small close knit team and will be dealing with customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone with the likeability factor, someone that our customers will look forward to seeing as they know that they will receive excellent service every time
previous supervisory experience in a builders merchants or warehousing environment is desirable. You will also need to have a strong customer service background and possess a forklift licence
hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.00am to 4.30pm with a one hour break and 1 in 2 Saturdays from 08.00am to 12.00pm
