  • trusstec supply areas around the UK such as Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Kent and London
  • working in an energetic; fast-paced environment in a team of four people, while maintaining high levels of accuracy, teamwork and work output
  • this role is split between working in a team of four in an energetic fast-paced production environment and undertaking driving and delivery to site duties of the finished product
  • hours of work: Monday to Thursday 6am-4pm and Friday 6am-8am , with OT paid till 10am
  • general housekeeping and tidying in the factory area

sales assistant

Responsibility

  • participate in the day-to-day running of the trade counter, shop and sales office
  • advise and recommend appropriate products
  • you will be advising customers on our vast range of products, negotiating prices and building relationships with customers
  • assist customers in the selection and purchase of items
  • you will represent the branch and assist with the growth of the business, working as a team to exceed sales targets
  • follow policies and procedures relating to documentation for cash and account transactions and stock movements
  • load materials into customer vehicles as required

Responsibility

  • experience of using a HIAB crane and a forklift is preferred but not essential
  • in this role you will be also required to work as part of our external team of staff
  • you will be required to carry out local multi-drop deliveries, therefore applicants must hold a Class 2 licence and have undertaken their full drivers CPC training
  • duties will include processing customer’s orders, providing excellent customer service, loading and unloading vehicles, storing stock safely and maintaining a tidy and safe work environment
  • you will be working within a small close knit team and will be dealing with customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone with the likeability factor, someone that our customers will look forward to seeing as they know that they will receive excellent service every time
  • A good knowledge of timber and building materials and experience of using a forklift is preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate

supervisor

Responsibility

  • we require an experienced Yard Supervisor to join our team at our Kingsfold Depot
  • reporting to the Depot Manager, you will manage the day to day running of our busy yard
  • other duties will include serving customers, yard cleanliness, stock replenishment and stock ordering/control
  • by organising the team and the loading and unloading of vehicles, you will ensure that the daily orders are completed accurately, safely and on time
  • you will be supervising a small close knit team and will be dealing with customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone with the likeability factor, someone that our customers will look forward to seeing as they know that they will receive excellent service every time
  • previous supervisory experience in a builders merchants or warehousing environment is desirable. You will also need to have a strong customer service background and possess a forklift licence
  • hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.00am to 4.30pm with a one hour break and 1 in 2 Saturdays from 08.00am to 12.00pm
