Responsibility

  • liaison with Sales, Customer Services and the NPI team to determine customer requirements
  • monitor project and work progress to ensure they are following the schedule, updating plans and communicating as necessary
  • liaise with production manager to monitor outputs, be aware of shortages and machinery malfunctions
  • collect and assess data about the production and teams’ performance. Report to production manager including efficiency suggestions and difficulties
  • create works orders, finalise job paperwork, liaise with dispatch on daily shipments
  • understanding of demand forecast, material constraints and capacity in order to create a production schedule for the Production Manager to work to
