Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • dunoon Ceramics Ltd manufacture Fine Bone China mugs from our factory situated in Stone, Staffordshire
  • we are looking for a Multi-skilled Fitter and/or Electrician on a permanent days basis
  • working hours can be flexible, if the business needs and the contracted 39 hours per week are met
  • the successful candidate will have previously worked in a mechanical and electrical maintenance role
  • previous experience working in a similar role within the Ceramics industry will be a distinct advantage
  • in particular, experience working on intermittent kilns , dryers, casting machines, de-seamers, dipping robot and sponging tracks
  • previous tool/machine setting knowledge would be advantageous although training can be given in this area
  • managing stocks of essential spares

Requirements

  • time served experience within mechanical and electrical maintenance with relevant qualifications
  • 17th or 18th edition qualified
  • flexible approach to working hours to support the business through the operational hours and shutdown periods
  • experience working with PLCs would be advantageous but not essential
  • fault finding
  • health and Safety knowledge, along with experience of issuing permits to work
