Responsibility

  • working with the team to oversee bookings, ensuring that all required resources are available
  • taking a lead role in the creation of collateral, content and email marketing
  • working closely with the Marketing Director and Sales department to develop and implement marketing strategies, track results, and adjust as needed
  • liaising with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure marketing activities / events attended align with company goals
  • planning, organising and executing internal and external events, from conception to completion. This includes liaising with external vendors, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics to ensure a successful event from start to finish

Responsibility

  • assist in preparation of bids in accordance with set timescales, to ensure Dukes have the best possible chance of success
  • writing 100% of proposals on time, adhering to internal and external deadlines
  • request and collate all data from relevant parties
  • contributing to department KPI success targets
  • identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
  • deliver completed written proposal responses to the Senior Bid Writer or Bid Manager, against agreed deadlines, escalating issues as required
  • maintain, review, update and improve all aspects of Dukes’ bid library
  • assist in reviewing post-decision information and improving the tender library answers to assist with future bids

Requirements

  • you have demonstratable experience in producing high quality sales and strategy driven proposal documentation
  • you will have a be confident requesting colleagues for information within prescribed timescales
  • you are flexible and highly self-motivated as well as being able to work as part of a collaborative team
  • you will be educated to degree level or have at least 2 years in a Bid Writing / Copy Writing / Sales experience
  • resilience - you are able to respond proactively to constructive feedback with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to interpret specifications and requirements. You have a willingness to learn
  • bid Writing: 2 years
  • excellent communication - you have strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly get to the point both in presentations and in bid documentation
  • organisation - you can follow a process, handle multiple and changing timescales and stay on top of a varied and rapidly changing workload without dropping the ball
