warehouse worker
Responsibility
- assist customers with loading and unloading their purchases, providing excellent customer service
- assist in the smooth running of our yard, ensuring all materials are organised, stored, and loaded effectively
- handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, accurately checking quantities and quality of goods
- operate forklifts and other machinery to safely move and transport heavy materials
- maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the yard, ensuring all areas are free from hazards
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar yard or warehouse role is preferred, but not essential
- possession of a valid forklift license is highly advantageous but training can be provided
- ability to work well in a team and independently, with a strong work ethic
- physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
