Requirements

  • the equivalent of an HND or higher in Graphic Design, Video Creation or another relevant qualification lending itself to this role
  • comprehensive experience of strong design skills in a business environment
  • video editing capability, ideally using Adobe Premiere Pro with some prior exposure to Adobe After Effects
  • some experience of web design principles, with some knowledge in HTML/CSS
  • experience of using web content management systems – WordPress in particular
  • evidence of keeping up to date with marketing trends, techniques and tools
  • A proven track record delivering digital and print design work
  • use of project management tools such as Asana

Responsibility

  • become brand guardians for our clients, ensuring consistent design, tone of voice, key messaging and customer experience across all marketing channels
  • at Due North we value a customer-centric approach to all aspects of marketing
  • amanda – our Managing Director – is based in Montrose, but the team operates as a fully remote team across the North East of Scotland, providing straightforward marketing solutions to clients across a variety of industries including but not limited to education, engineering, retail and construction
  • your primary responsibilities will include editing videos, using your graphical design skills to create brochures, adverts and presentations alongside supporting the design team with the construction of websites
  • whether you are looking for a full-time role or part-time hours, Due North Creatives is open to considering your availability
  • in addition to working as an outsourced partner for our clients, you will also support the growth of our coaching and consultancy services, empowering our clients to activate their own marketing efforts
  • be part of our creative design team and contribute marketing and content outputs in areas including video, digital and print design, as well as helping with WordPress website builds and updates
  • while you will work remotely from home, there will be regular in-person meetings and client work sessions, so it’s essential that you are based in the North East of Scotland, preferably between Dundee and Aberdeen
