  • relevant qualifications in relation to the position
  • computer literate
  • carry out periodic safety inspections on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA inspection manual standards
  • prepare commercial vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspections
  • carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
  • to carry out welding, fabrication and body repairs as required
  • to attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles and effect permanent or temporary repairs as required
