Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- soldering and assembly of components on PCBs
- light electromechanical final assembly of our products working from instructions and drawings
- electronic/Electrical testing, fault-finding and rework
- final testing and calibration of products
- day to day workload management and supervision of electronics apprentice
- assist with stock management of electronics components
Requirements
- advanced soldering skills including SMD rework
- experienced with various test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters
- must have a recognised electronic engineering qualification to C&G/ NVQ Level 3 /HNC or equivalent
- must be proactive and self-motivated, with good initiative and decision making skills plus the willingness to learn new skills
- used to working in a busy environment
- 2 + years previous experience as an Production/Electronics Technician in a hands-on engineering
