Responsibility

  • drenagh Sawmills is a long established, family owned business located in Limavady
  • we are currently have an exciting opportunity for the following full time, permanent position of Health and Safety Officer
  • the Company uses timber to produce an innovative range of bespoke products for use in the fencing, landscaping, pallet & packaging and playground markets in the UK and Ireland

Requirements

  • recognised 3rd level H&S qualification
  • minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience in a Health and Safety role
  • previous knowledge of ISO 45001 system
  • excellent understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • highly motivated and meticulous in attention to detail
  • excellent organisation and co-ordination skills
  • excellent leadership, training and presentation skills
