Responsibility

  • keep the house clean and tidy; this ranges from day to day tidying to more intensive seasonal cleans
  • performing laundry and ironing and taking care of clothes
  • stocking and maintaining a list of housekeeping supplies
  • taking care of antique furniture; dusting and polishing and where necessary bringing in specialists
  • managing a rota of household servicing including boilers, CCTV and chimneys, pest prevention etc

Requirements

  • no formal qualifications required except a valid full UK driving license
  • cooking or culinary experience is a bonus
  • our preference is candidates with 3+ years’ experience doing this role in a similar environment
  • housekeeper: 3 years
