Requirements

  • several years’ experience in a digital marketing role, either in-house or within an agency within the cultural sector
  • experience of engaging art world audiences
  • excellent copywriting and proof-reading
  • ability to adapt tone of voice and style to different clients, a nimble approach to multichannel communications
  • familiarity with SEO, with an understanding of tools such as Google Keywords
  • ability to use Google Analytics or similar to assess the performance of content
  • solid experience of working in the arts
  • A good network of media contacts in the art and culture sectors, preferably on an international level

Responsibility

  • A leading cultural communications consultancy is looking for someone of Account Manager or Account Director level to join their team
  • general
  • identifying new business opportunities, feeding into discussions, drafting pitches and proposals as required across the business
  • contribute creative PR, marketing and brand development ideas
  • editorial outreach on behalf of clients to print, broadcast and digital media
  • lastly, design skills for social media posts, and basic film editing skills for social and web content are desirable
  • in depth knowledge of visual art subject matter
  • regular communication with target media to comprise in-person meetings, one-on-one pitches and press release dissemination
