Responsibility
- ensure all stock ordered is consistent with planned menus that reflect choice and preference
- ensuring the correct storage and rotation of stocks
- we are looking for a Cook to become part of our company’s passionate care giving team
- our home is a friendly and relaxed environment and we put a big emphasis on the food that we serve
- to prepare, cook and present well-balanced meals and beverages to the highest quality incorporating, dietary needs as required by the residents of the home using fresh produce and within budget
- ensure that an excellent standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen, to meet the required standards of practice prescribed by Environmental Health Agencies
- the successful candidate must be reliable and fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties and be able to produce a variety of menus, including catering for special dietary needs
- cook – 14 hours per week £10.92 - £12.48 per hour, weekends. The shifts will be on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. One of the positions is for weekends only
