- the role itself is a crucial part of their 8 person infrastructure team that support the European region
- due to the confidential nature of the data they work with, the vast majority of applications are still on premise
- dovestone are currently partnered with a leading organisation in Manchester who are searching for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join the business
- you will be responsible for being the Network Engineer and the main components will compromise of managing and modernising infrastructure networking and switches, including VPN and VLAN as well as servers and prerequisite security
- in terms of training for the role, the business will put you on external training courses to keep you updated in the latest technology
- there is also a strong career pathway which could lead to either management or the opportunity to pivot into taking on more security tasks
- the culture within the team is friendly and outgoing, they often have team nights out and plenty of events to get to know the wider team
- budgeted salary for this role is at £50k, but there is a little stretch for the right person. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 from home after probation as well as free parking, dental and a health plan
