DOVE COTTAGE TEA ROOM is looking for employees for positions:

Responsibility

  • the successful candidate will manage voluntary staff, evenly allocate the daily workload and will be responsible to the Tea Room Manager
  • hours of work 9am to 2pm to cover the breakfast and lunch service
  • we are looking for a candidate with experience in the hospitality and catering sector to work in our busy and beautiful country tea room. Must be friendly, organised and customer focused and have the capability to remain calm under pressure
  • please note: the post is based in a very rural location and applicants must have their own means of transport
  • duties include: preparing cakes for display, taking orders, preparing and serving drinks, serving food, clearing and cleaning tables, washing up and taking payment using the till and card machine

Requirements

  • A good understanding of food preparation from working in a catering environment E
  • good at working in a team E
  • experience of delivering excellent customer service E
  • able to think on your feet E
  • food hygiene level 2 and allergen training E
  • able to supervise and support others E
  • experience of working in a kitchen and café/restaurant E
  • willing to learn E
