Responsibility

  • support and training would be provided to enable the successful candidate to grow and develop in the role
  • experience working in a design role within a commercial or glazed partitioning environment would be advantageous
  • create 2D designs
  • use standard designs to help prepare assembly instructions and maintenance manuals for installation
  • we are looking for a Design Technician to join a very experienced team, working on a range of glazing projects in the commercial building sector
  • to ensure buildability, safety, cost, and access are considered when producing designs
  • to liaise with internal departments to ensure client requirements are fully understood and compliant
  • to ensure all plans and drawings are in line with the specification, acoustic and fire requirements
