Responsibility

  • commercial responsibility for your territory with strong profit focus
  • responsible for managing direct and indirect trade customer accounts, with a focus on retention of existing customers, developing new business opportunities and nurturing organic growth – this will be managed through KPIs and regular customer engagement/visits in territory
  • attendance at trade & consumer events in the territory
  • an expectation to spend circa 70-80% of your time visiting customers, developing their growth of DB beers through activation plans and developing new business across the region
  • effective and clearly defined forecasting activities to maintain adequate stock levels through natural peaks and troughs in trade through the year
  • identification of new business development opportunities through excellent territory knowledge, and fully embedding yourself within the local beer on and off trade community
  • working closely with our wholesale and delivery partners to ensure service levels are met and exceeded with our customers, and leveraging opportunities across the customer base
  • CRM management and customer analysis of territory sales levels, and regularly updating the team with this analysis in order to promote effective decision making in house

Requirements

  • strong account management experience
  • fast paced and high achiever, embracing an entrepreneurial environment, but with an eye on the detail where required
  • has a passion and deep knowledge of the craft beer industry
  • ability to work in a range of environments, both an independent self-starter and great team worker
  • strong communication skills when both pitching to customers & working internally
  • strong commercial abilities and desire to grow and develop
  • hold a full clean UK drivers licence
  • sales/Account Management: 2 years
