Responsibility
- prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu's and quality standards
- assist with menu planning and development
- ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets expectations
- monitor food stock levels and replenish as needed
- we are looking for a talented Nursery Cook to join our Dots n Spots family. You would be providing home cooked, nutricious meals for the lovely children at our setting based in Skelton in Cleveland
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- management of dietary requirements, ensuring these are followed strictly
Requirements
- proven experience as a cook
- knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of Health & Safety working in a kitchen including COSHH
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- knowledge of food allergies & intolerances
- food Hygiene Qualification
