Responsibility
- cloud and IoT Product Manager
- an exciting opportunity for a product manager with strong IoT hardware and cloud software expertise to help support the rapid growth of a successful UK electronic device manufacturer, selling to enterprise customers world-wide
- we are on the lookout for people with relevant experience that can contribute in different ways to our growth plans, including a new role as Cloud and IoT Product Manager based in our Godalming office potentially on a hybrid basis
- experience of internet-connected hardware and remote device management, ideally in a web/SaaS product environment
- having already created a successful stand-alone range of NFC reader hardware products that are being manufactured and sold world-wide, we are now embarking on an ambitious project to develop and launch a Cloud-based platform to support and manage our devices in the field, and to help integrate them into other systems
- product management experience, or an aspiration to move into a PM role from an engineering/software development role
- what will you be responsible for?
- by joining at a relatively early stage during this evolution of our product offerings, you will be working directly with our senior executives as well as our engineering and product team to take ownership of this new platform, which combines unique IoT-style hardware with an API-first SaaS infrastructure, which has already been proven through early customer trials and partnerships
Requirements
- an engineering degree or other relevant technical qualifications and work experience
- A passion for new technology and solutions, particularly around mobile and real-world consumer interactions

- an understanding of security and encryption principles, API-first development, user experience and user interface design, database design, responsive and dynamic web site development, web scripting and automation etc
- highly organised, with clear and concise communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience working with a diverse team of engineers, sales people and other product managers as well as end customers and partners
