Responsibility
- we are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join the team on an alternating shift of earlies/lates
- set up and operate multiple CNC lathes to produce components with precision and accuracy
- as a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications
- read and interpret engineering drawings, and specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances
- your expertise in turning techniques and ability to interpret technical drawings will contribute to the success of the manufacturing processes
- select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each job
- monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify adherence to specifications
Requirements
- proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role
- proficiency in operating CNC lathes and associated software
- strong knowledge of turning techniques and tool selection
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes
- attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- good communication and teamwork abilities
