Responsibility
- perform groundwork tasks including kerb laying, flag and modular paving
- install storm drainage systems accurately and efficiently
- experience in highway works
- operate plant and small machinery such as diggers, dumpers, rollers, and handheld tools
- follow site supervisor instructions and collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery
- ensure high standards of workmanship with attention to detail and quality
- maintain a safe and tidy work environment in line with health and safety regulations
- promptly report any issues, hazards, or incidents to site supervisors
Requirements
- proven experience in groundwork or general construction
- valid CSCS card is required; CPCS and NPORS tickets are also essential
- street Works qualification is highly desirable
- confident using a variety of construction tools and plant equipment
- A full, valid UK driving licence is preferred
- strong team player with excellent communication skills
- proactive and eager to learn new skills and techniques within the industry
- to be able to pass drug and acholic screening
