Responsibility

  • ensure smooth, efficient and accurate system receipt of all incoming stock
  • unpacking, checking and pricing of stock
  • updating inventory management system with product information
  • identification and recording of inventory booking errors
  • liaise with buyers regarding orders due in and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure stock is delivered on time
  • create transfers for stock from warehouse to shops
  • prepare stock for transit to shops
  • load van and arrange for delivery of stock between the warehouse and stores

Requirements

  • hands on experience working with stock management systems and strong general IT skills
  • to be approachable, open, fair and enjoy working as part of a team
  • have a high level of attention to detail; to be very methodical and accurate in the way that you operate across all activities
  • stock control: 2 years
  • excellent skills: written, verbal but particularly, communication skills
  • A proven track record in continuous improvement: addressing issues, finding solutions and implementing new practices
