Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensure smooth, efficient and accurate system receipt of all incoming stock
- unpacking, checking and pricing of stock
- updating inventory management system with product information
- identification and recording of inventory booking errors
- liaise with buyers regarding orders due in and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure stock is delivered on time
- create transfers for stock from warehouse to shops
- prepare stock for transit to shops
- load van and arrange for delivery of stock between the warehouse and stores
Requirements
- hands on experience working with stock management systems and strong general IT skills
- to be approachable, open, fair and enjoy working as part of a team
- have a high level of attention to detail; to be very methodical and accurate in the way that you operate across all activities
- stock control: 2 years
- excellent skills: written, verbal but particularly, communication skills
- A proven track record in continuous improvement: addressing issues, finding solutions and implementing new practices
