Responsibility
- ensure smooth, efficient and accurate system receipt of all incoming stock
- unpacking, checking and pricing of stock
- updating inventory management system with product information

- liaise with buyers regarding orders due in and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure stock is delivered on time
- create transfers for stock from warehouse to shops
- prepare stock for transit to shops
- load van and arrange for delivery of stock between the warehouse and stores
- liaise with our web team regarding fulfilment of online orders
- occasional loading and unloading stock from antiques fairs and delivery of vintage pieces locally
- ensuring all areas of the warehouse and surroundings are kept clean and tidy to facilitate ease of operations
- maintain the ongoing compliance of Health & Safety regulations and GDPR regulations
- to have flexibility to undertake occasional tasks that are needed in a small business, as and when you are requested
Requirements
- hands on experience working with stock management systems and strong general IT skills
- to be approachable, open, fair and enjoy working as part of a team
- have a high level of attention to detail; to be very methodical and accurate in the way that you operate across all activities
