Responsibility

• guide, train and mentor direct reports

• considerable background in drug discovery in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• experience in project leadership
• experience with membrane protein production such as GPCRs, Ion channels, SLCs using detergents or amphipols, SMAlps or nanodiscs

• well-developed communication and presentation skills
• structural analysis of membrane proteins by CryoEM or X-ray crystallography
• experience with recombinant antibody production
• proven experience in line management
• deep understanding in a broad range of protein QC technologies
• ability to plan resource requirements
• ability to plan equipment and recruitment needs in a growing team
• A sound knowledge of molecular biology and protein expression of proteins at litre scale in different expression systems

Responsibility

• domainex has a permanent vacancy for a creative and enthusiastic marketing manager with a degree in a biology or chemistry discipline
• ideally applicants will have prior relevant marketing experience obtained within a life science organisation, but this is not essential
• the successful applicant will have the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues of varying levels of seniority and gather key information

• regularly review and update Domainex’s website to ensure that it covers all of Domainex’s service offerings, that SEO is optimal and the content is engaging and clear

Responsibility

• book-in deliveries on the procurement system, and file hard copies of shipping documents. Liaise with the accounts team at Domainex Ltd for invoicing of goods received
• receive and register deliveries to site, unpack and put away consumables in a designated location and distribution of chemicals to the appropriate scientist
• collection of waste from the laboratories and transferred for suitable disposal
