care home manager
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- day to day running of the home
- ensuring the highest occupancy levels are achieved and maintained
- building a rapport with local commissioners, NHS clinical teams, CQC inspectors and clinicians affiliated with the
- ensuring all Internal Audits are carried out when due and oversee the implementation of the home’s policies and procedures
- identifying business opportunities whilst effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home
- ensuring that the emotional, spiritual, physical needs of the service users are recognised, assessed, and met
- recruit, support, and mentor the staff team
- delivering a service which is economically viable, managing available resources effectively and meeting the needs of our customers
Requirements
- experience as a manager is beneficial but not essential
- minimum Qualification NVQ level 3 with relevant Care Experience
- always putting the needs and wellbeing of our residents first - finding new ways to enrich their lives
- willingness to enrol on QCF level 4/5 training
- good Organisational skills
- understanding of CQC fundamental standards and implementation within care settings
- 28 days holiday
- flexible working pattern agreeable with directors
