Responsibility
- we are a small, busy, family run café in the rural village of Welburn, York, and expanding at a quick rate
- we are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can be key driver in expanding our current offering
- experience in service kitchens essential, baking and production experience preferred but a willingness to learn is sufficient
- knowledge of food hygiene, stock control, ordering and health and safety are essential parts of the job role
- salary based on 38hrs per week
- we are open 7 days a week so weekend work is essential
- we are looking for a chef to join our team to work in our service kitchen, and support in the bakery on a full time basis
- we have a great reputation for our quality cakes and lunch offerings, a wide range of home-made take away items and also run successful monthly bistro events
