production manager
Working hours

Responsibility
- responsible for the execution of the production plan in line with company policies and procedures
- identify, implement and measure all core skills training to achieve and maintain a multiskilled team
- manage staff consistently, fairly and swiftly to ensure that accountability, discipline and strong leadership is promoted throughout the departments
- participate in the implementation of HR Policies & processes
- analyse KPI data using Plantrun to drive continuous improvement and lean working practices
- work with Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvement plans are in place to drive and exceed targets
- support all production targets and achieve KPIs, investigating and trouble-shooting where risk to our success arises
- drive team motivation, employee engagement and foster a culture of communication and teamwork allowing team members to contribute ideas, support Company initiatives and develop professionally
Requirements
- proven experience of managing a successful team with ability to develop and engage as required
- time-served experience and knowledge of manufacturing principles and processes
- proactive and determined approach to continuous improvement activities
- competent in monitoring and control of resources to achieve daily schedules and deadlines
- A clear understanding of OHSE requirements
- excellent IT skills in Microsoft packages and ability to use bespoke manufacturing software
- strong and confident communication, both verbal and written
- management in a Manufacturing environment: 5 years
