DM NEWS is looking for employees for positions:
- edit news packages, interviews, features, and digital content for broadcast and online platforms
- work closely with producers, reporters, and presenters to bring stories to life

- transform raw footage into compelling, polished edits using text, graphics, transitions, and sound design
- maintain high visual and editorial standards across all content
- deliver projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- ensure that all video content meets OFCOM guidelines and internal brand consistency
- manchester City Centre Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,000 – £28,000 per year
- A graduate degree in a relevant field
- at least 2 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in a news or broadcast environment
- strong portfolio/showreel showcasing a variety of editing styles
- excellent storytelling instincts with a strong sense of pacing and tone
- great attention to detail and clear communication skills
- ability to take creative direction and work independently as well as part of a team
- A genuine interest in news, current affairs, and visual journalism
