Responsibility

  • we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Head Chef Designate to join our team at Distinct Group Ltd
  • distinct Group Ltd currently owns two luxury hotels, the Bedford Swan and Hotel Cromwell Stevenage
  • A great opportunity to join an independent, family owned, company with focus on great food and service as well as training, and a culture of internal progression and promotion
  • both hotels have recently been completely refurbished and there are ongoing plans for new projects at each, as well as possible new hotels in the group
  • as Head Chef designate you will be responsible for covering holiday and sickness at both hotels, helping to lead, train and motivate the teams when you are there
  • at the same time, you will be working closely with the Group Chef to ensure you are ready for a Head Chef position within the group should one become available
  • therefore, the successful candidate will have a similar passion and way of working
  • both hotels have a British Brasserie with 100-150 covers, a busy conference and banqueting business and an outdoor terrace area, The Bedford Swan also has a tearoom
