Responsibility

  • monitor and optimize solutions for performance, addressing bottlenecks as needed
  • perform SQL installations, upgrades, patching, data migration, and file imports
  • build and maintain data loading and maintenance pipelines using tools like SSIS, Data Factory, and PowerShell
  • identify system improvements, challenge existing technologies and methodologies, and propose cost and time-saving measures
  • undertake any other reasonable duties as required
  • stay updated on new and existing technologies, contribute to best practices evolution

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
  • knowledge of Azure data administration, Business Intelligence development, or SSIS development is a plus
  • strong understanding of data principles and data-driven decision-making
  • proficiency in Azure Blob storage, Azure SQL Managed Instances, SSIS, Data Factory, and SQL Server
  • ability to troubleshoot complex SQL and perform performance fixes
