Responsibility
- discovery Stone is a new stone worktops fabrication company which began operations in September 2023
- the company have invested in top of the range stone fabrication machinery, have a well-established site in West Pitkerro Ind
- estate, and already developed relationships with supply chain partners and local customers
- part of the Malcolm, Ogilvie & Co group, the management have a wealth of experience in various manufacturing markets which they are transferring into the Quartz and Granite worktops industry
- tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, including cleaning, tool changes, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and address any safety hazards promptly
- machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC machines for stone fabrication, including loading the appropriate stone slabs, securing them in place, and ensuring tooling is properly installed
- documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, job specifications, and any adjustments made during the fabrication process
Requirements
- proven experience as a CNC Operator with CNC programming knowledge
- knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- physical strength and endurance for lifting and moving heavy stone slabs
- effective communication and teamwork skills
